Join us on 13th June, 11 am to 2 pm, to celebrate the completion of our project to restore the formal gardens of Old Yardley Park. The rose-beds will be at their spectacular summer best, along with the newly-planted parterre and long border.
A free event for everyone, with the opportunity to explore the gardens, visit the plant stall, try flower crafts and view the flower festival at nearby St Edburgha’s Church. Refreshments available in the Church.
Birmingham’s Lord Mayor and Councillor Deborah Harries will attend the presentation of a commemorative plaque by our project funders the National Garden Scheme, which will take place around 12 noon. All welcome.
With the generous support of the National Garden Scheme Community Garden Grants and thanks to our wonderful local volunteers. The gardens have been restored by the Yardley Conservation Society, which is organising this event.
