Our Story

The first step of our journey was In 2023/24, when we made a successful application to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, managed through Birmingham City Council. This fund aims to level up all parts of the UK and boost local people’s sense of pride in where they live. Our effective project delivery led to a second tranche of funding for 2025, which has enabled us to establish Historic Yardley as a Cultural Action Area.
