We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and Mrs Zubeda Rashid to our Flower & Garden Festival, held on Saturday 13th June.
Hosted by Councillor Deborah Harris, the Lord Mayor visited the newly-restored gardens in Old Yardley Park, the flower festival in St Edburgha’s Church, the eco-friendly churchyard garden and the flower craft workshop organised by Arts in the Yard.
The Lord Mayor was present at the presentation of a commemorative plaque by the National Garden Scheme to the Yardley Conservation Society and the volunteers who restored the gardens.
